Aaron Bennett, P.E.

Aaron Bennett is a Professional Engineer from Portsmouth New Hampshire with over 19 years’ experience in engineering-related services for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. His technical and management skills include construction management, engineering design, building inspections, and forensic investigation. Mr. Bennett has completed a variety of over 300 projects which have included Capital Needs Assessment Studies for homeowner/condominium associations and churches, structural inspections, residential home inspections, commercial property condition assessments, cost segregation studies, 200 foot long seawalls, and dozens of other engineering consultation projects which have included designs, permitting, and engineering services. Recently, Criterium-Bennett Engineers was awarded a Reserve Study for the largest Association in the state of NH – 495 units spread amongst 178 buildings.

Prior to Criterium-Bennett Engineers, Mr. Bennett participated in a wide range of engineering projects from residential to industrial design, where he was involved with projects that varied from liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant design to residential and commercial building evaluations, forensic investigations, and segmental retaining wall designs. As a key contributor to both small and large scale projects, Mr. Bennett provided complete site / civil design packages (infrastructure improvements, grading and drainage design, underground utility design, and the corresponding specifications) for multiple private and municipal clients throughout the country. In doing so, he submitted applications to obtain the required municipal, State and Federal approvals for these projects. Throughout the construction process he led the contractor bid selection process, managed RFI’s (request for information), reviewed shop drawings for approval, and provided construction site visits to inspect plans, and to direct contractors as necessary. Mr. Bennett has an accredited AutoCAD certificate as a CAD (computer aided design) drafter and this skill has aided him in developing shop drawings, complete site and building designs, boundary and topographic surveys, construction layout, and  existing conditions packages.
